The ceremony showcased some of the items selected to be buried in the time capsule following the close of the meet. Additionally, the ceremony honored equine artist Robert Clark (second from right), who designed SPAtacular, the celebrated Saratoga 150 horse. Closing weekend marks the final days that SPAtacular will reside inside the Clubhouse gates. The artwork will be given a permanent home at the National Museum of Racing & Hall of Fame following the 2013 meet.  Photo: NYRA.
