Planning for the 2013 five month celebration of Saratoga150 has been shifted into high gear with the creation of specific committees.

The events committee is receiving input from dozens of local non-profit organizations on events which will be open to the public between May 1 and September 30, 2013. These events, once approved, will be able to use the Saratoga 150 logo and receive promotion and exposure through the festival’s website.

A new website is currently being developed that will feature these events and a historical timeline for both racing and the community.

Organizers of the festival have created committees which are currently working to involve the local school district, seek sponsorship and coordinate exhibits and seminars at numerous locations in 2013.

The events committee is in the process of finalizing themes for each month saluting the U.S. Military, the Arts, History, America, Racing, Food, Music and Dance.

Simultaneously, Saratoga150 is working on final design and production of posters, pins, t-shirts and decals all including the copyright protected Saratoga150 logo.
